Scope
The Technology team at Houlihan Lokey is looking to add a Senior Associate/Vice President in Paris.

Responsibilities
- Support/lead the execution of Technology M&A transactions. Coordinate and perform comprehensive business due diligence, acting as a key driver from mandate to successful close.
- Create, develop, and review complex financial models (including database systems, LBO, and DCF). Prepare, analyse, and help explain historical and projected financial information, and expertly value companies and businesses.
- Act as a key client contact on transactions, leading client meetings and playing a significant role in pitches. Prepare confidential information memoranda, management presentations, marketing pitches, and other strategic presentations.
- Build enduring relationships and maintain direct contact with clients, prospective clients, professional advisors, and other stakeholders. Lead the planning and execution of marketing engagements, and assist in initiating and extending group client development efforts to grow the business entrepreneurially.
- Supervise, manage, and proactively develop the junior team, providing mentorship in financial analyses and deal execution.
Requirements
- 57 years of investment banking or corporate finance experience within an M&A, generalist, or Industry team.
- Experience and strong insight in the Technology sector will be favourably regarded, particularly including the completion of end-to-end sell-side mandates (closed deal experience).
- A strong academic track record, having achieved a 2:1 or equivalent degree.
- Advanced financial modelling (LBO and DCF) and analytical abilities. Strong knowledge of accounting, applied financial theory, and financial statement analysis (with the ability to work through key assumptions, implicit caveats, and limitations).
- Strong knowledge of Excel.
- Demonstrated experience successfully managing and mentoring junior team members.
- Proven ability to handle multiple assignments simultaneously and execute end-to-end deals.
- A strategic mindset with the ability to suggest the best solutions for our clients.
- Strong qualitative and quantitative research skills.
- Fluency in the English and French language are essential.
- Strong work ethic and organizational skills. You must be motivated, creative, outgoing, and demonstrate the ability to work cooperatively with all levels of staff in a rapidly changing, demanding, and fast-paced environment.
