Position Summary
The Client Reporting Specialist is primarily responsible for ensuring the accuracy and timely delivery of private and public fund reporting. While this role involves the production of standard and custom reports, the primary focus is on monitoring, quality control, and ensuring all reports are accurate and posted on schedule. This individual serves as a critical link between internal teams, external clients, vendors, and regulatory agencies.The position is located in New York City.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
Primarily responsible for monitoring private and public fund reporting, ensuring all reports are accurate and posted timely
Perform quality control checks including a two-step verification process with other team members
Review and validate report outputs before distribution to internal and external stakeholders
Identify and flag discrepancies, data gaps, or anomalies in reporting and coordinate resolution
Independently produce standard and custom reporting requirements (daily, weekly, monthly, semi-annual, annual) to internal and external clients, vendors, and regulatory agencies
Coordinate information and data flow into and out of the report production process
Manage the Intralinks portal, as assigned weekly, ensuring timely posting and access to client reports
Actively participate in performing an inventory analysis of existing client reports and metrics across multiple departments
Identify and develop enhanced reporting capabilities and systems enhancements
Evaluate and provide input on improving department processes
Document department processes and standard operating procedures
Develop a comprehensive knowledge of the firm's business, investment strategies, data, policies, and procedures
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field
25 years of experience in client reporting, fund administration, or operations within financial services
Strong attention to detail with a quality-control mindset
Experience with fund reporting (private and/or public)
Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage multiple reporting deadlines simultaneously
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Intralinks or similar document portal platforms
Familiarity with Fixed Income products or institutional asset management
Experience with reporting systems and data management tools
Understanding of regulatory reporting requirements
Salary Range
Annual base salary between
$100,000.00-$115,000.00The base salary range represents the low and high end of the anticipated base salary range for this position. Actual base salaries may vary depending on factors such as location and experience. The range listed reflects base salary only, and the total compensation package may include other components such as incentive compensation.
