Rates SMM Engineering professionals are responsible for designing and developing distributed, real-time trading systems that facilitate the seamless flow of Govt Bonds and Interest Rate Swaps (IRS). By bridging the gap between systematic pricing, human interfaces, and client demand, the team builds low-latency infrastructure and scalable architectures essential for automated market making. These engineers collaborate globally to deliver robust trading solutions, ensuring the firm remains competitive in the evolving financial markets through technological innovation and market expertise.

Requirements

Basic Qualifications

  • STEM degree 
  • Thorough knowledge of Java/C++ programming concepts
  • Self-Starter, curiosity and sense of ownership
  • Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming, data structures, algorithms and design patterns
  • Experience with Linux operating system internals and/or networking concepts
  • Strong communication skills 

 Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with real-time distributed systems
  • Multi-threaded/concurrent programming
  • Low-latency messaging, network protocols, network I/O in Java
  • Strong interpersonal skills, self-driven, and ownership
  • Knowledge of financial markets
