Divisional Overview

The Corporate Planning & Management (CPM) division integrates financial planning, spend management, third-party risk management, product management and engineering teams to support strategic decisions across the firm. 

 

Finance & Planning drives business planning, budgeting, and analytics across revenue, expense, liquidity, and capital. The pillar includes divisional CFOs providing strategic finance advisory, Product Finance managing non-compensation expense governance, and Corporate Insurance & Advisory overseeing the firm's insurance needs and risk mitigation.

Global Procurement strategically manages third-party engagement, optimizing value and mitigating risks across the supply chain. Key functions include Strategic Sourcing, Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM), Procure to Pay (P2P), Travel, and Sustainable Operations driving ESG initiatives.

Product & Reporting manages the product lifecycle for CPM technology platforms and delivers comprehensive reporting, dashboards, and analytics. The team oversees financial planning and analysis systems, spend management tools, and TPRM solutions while providing stakeholders with actionable insights for evidence-based decisions.

CPM Engineering provides engineering solutions enabling third-party spend management, data automation, budget planning, financial forecasting, and expense allocation aligned with strategic objectives.

CPM Management provides strategic oversight, operational support, communications and change management, and risk governance across the division.

 

Role Overview

 

Professionals in CPM have an analytical mindset, exhibit intellectual curiosity, and come from diverse academic backgrounds. This role sits within Global Procurement and specifically supports Real Estate Strategic Sourcing for capital projects, with a focus on corporate office interior fit-out delivery.

The role requires close collaboration with Real Estate Development, project management teams, Finance, Legal, Risk, and business stakeholders to support sourcing activity across the project lifecycle. The candidate should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, supporting multiple workstreams at once, and producing clear commercial analysis, bid evaluations, and stakeholder updates. Strong verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate with regional and global counterparts are essential.

The role requires a highly motivated Strategic Sourcing professional to join our Real Estate category team, supporting capital projects procurement with a focus on interior fit-out for corporate office environments. The individual will support end-to-end sourcing activity across design, construction, furniture, and related project services, helping drive commercial value, process discipline, and timely project execution. This position is suited to an Analyst or Senior Analyst with approximately 2 years of experience who is looking to build category expertise in a high-impact, fast-paced procurement environment.

Spend categories in scope include interior fit-out construction, general contracting, furniture and fixtures, professional services related to workplace delivery, and other capital project requirements associated with corporate office build-outs and refurbishments. This role is focused on Real Estate capital projects and does not cover facilities management, supply chain, or basebuild procurement.

Role based in Bengaluru, India with potential for travel as required

Job responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: 

  • Real Estate Capital Projects Sourcing & Category Support:
    • Support sourcing strategy development and execution for Real Estate capital projects, with emphasis on interior fit-out works for corporate office environments.
    • Conduct bid analysis, commercial evaluations, benchmarking, and market research to support sourcing decisions across construction, furniture, and project-related services.
    • Support the end-to-end sourcing lifecycle including supplier identification, preparation of bid documentation, RFx execution, commercial comparisons, negotiation support, award recommendations, and contract execution.
    • Assist in evaluating total project cost, commercial drivers, schedule considerations, and scope alignment to support value-based sourcing outcomes.
    • Ensure sourcing activities are aligned with internal governance, project approval requirements, and the Firmwide Third Party Risk and Control Framework.
    • Coordinate with Legal, Risk, Finance, and Real Estate project stakeholders to address commercial, contractual, and execution risks during the sourcing process.
  • Stakeholder Coordination & Project Support:
    • Partner with internal clients and project teams to understand scope, timelines, and sourcing requirements for workplace fit-out projects.
    • Work closely with Real Estate Development, project managers, Finance, Legal, and other internal functions to support smooth execution of sourcing events and supplier onboarding.
    • Prepare bid summaries, recommendation materials, and status updates for internal stakeholders to support sourcing decisions and project governance.
    • Maintain sourcing documentation, commercial trackers, and key project records with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Commercial Analysis & Negotiation Support:
    • Develop an understanding of construction cost structures, pricing components, contract commercials, and scope comparison relevant to interior fit-out procurement.
    • Support negotiations with suppliers on pricing, scope, commercial terms, and delivery schedules under the guidance of senior team members.
    • Analyse supplier submissions, identify commercial and scope variances, and support development of clear recommendation materials that balance cost, risk, quality, and schedule.
    • Coordinate review of contracts, bid clarifications, and commercial schedules with Legal and internal stakeholders to support compliant and timely contracting.
    • Monitor supplier market developments and pricing trends relevant to workplace interiors and capital project delivery.
  • Tools, Analytics & Process Discipline:
    • Use sourcing and procurement tools effectively to manage RFx events, supplier information, commercial analysis, and contracting workflows.
    • Leverage data, templates, and digital tools to improve consistency, transparency, and speed in sourcing execution.
    • Demonstrate strong process discipline, documentation standards, and willingness to adopt new tools and ways of working.
