Division/Role Description

Asset Management brings together traditional and alternative investments to provide clients with long-term performance. The Real Estate Asset Management Analyst supports investment-level analytics, valuation review, and financial modeling across real estate assets, partnering closely with asset managers and operating partners.

 Job Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain levered cash flow models and present key profit metrics, including IRR and Equity Multiple
  • Support ongoing investment performance monitoring by analysing operating results, valuation movements, and key drivers of returns
  • Ensure accuracy and integrity of data used in investment analytics
  • Review third party appraisal reports and assess assumptions, methodologies and recommended valuation adjustments
  • Manage lease, construction, and rent roll data to support forecasting, valuation and asset level decision making
  • Monitor compliance with financing covenants and lender reporting obligations
  • Collaborate with internal asset managers and external operating partners to ensure effective oversight of the assets managed
  • Prepare and maintain recurring and adhoc investment and asset-level reports to support decision making processes

Qualifications

  • Strong academic background. MBA, CFA or CA preferred
  • Demonstrated interest in real estate asset class with foundational understanding of valuation methodologies
  • Experience with Argus or other real estate modeling tools
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to manage internal and external relationships
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office applications and business productivity tools
  • Experience with automation tools (Alteryx, Tableau)
  • Strong project management, multi-tasking, and work organization skills
  • Flexible, personable, confident, and self-motivated while focusing on being a team player
