Asset Management Operations partners with two main areas of the firm to deliver asset management capabilities to clients around the world, providing essential risk management and control as well as client service and excellence in execution.

JOB SUMMARY AND RESPONSBILITIES 

The GSAM Institutional and Fund Reporting team manages the setup and distribution of client reporting deliverables for all Institutional Clients globally and Clients & Prospects invested in GSAM Mutual Funds across multiple regions. In addition, we manage institutional portal client setup, produce Monthly Mutual Fund Updates and provide assistance on a number of other client relationship functions. 

Act as a client reporting specialist within the Bangalore Client Reporting team, partnering closely with Client Relationship Managers, Sales and product team(s) to fulfil regularly scheduled Institutional / Mutual Fund Client Reporting deliverables. 

The team is responsible for the following functions: 

  • Manage the checkout and timely delivery of standardized reporting suites, ensuring accuracy and adherence to delivery SLAs. 
  • Manage the end-to-end production and exception management of monthly fund factsheets 
  • Collaborate with upstream data-owners/ providers to ensuring data accuracy and optimize data flow for downstream reporting 
  • Synthesize and present daily key performance indicators (KPIs) to senior management to facilitate informed, data-driven decision-making. 
  • Design and execute bespoke reporting solutions to meet specific stakeholder and client requirements Co-ordinate the preparation and delivery of Regulatory Report for GSAM ensuring adherence to compliance requirements 
  • Govern the update and maintenance process for client statement disclosures and footnotes 
  • Access provisioning to GSAM.com 

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS 

  • Demonstrates exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with a proven ability to synthesize complex information and articulate issues clearly to diverse stakeholders. 
  • Exhibits a meticulous approach to work, ensuring high levels of accuracy in all deliverables. 
  • Possesses a deep understanding of financial risk frameworks and a proactive mindset toward identifying, assessing, and mitigating potential risks. 
  • Strong analytical and logical skills 
  • Displays a forward-looking mindset with a proven ability to conceptualize innovative strategies and manage the end-to-end execution of complex projects 
  • Capable of managing high-volume workflows in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment everyday 
  • Demonstrates a high degree of technical aptitude in Microsoft Excel and pother MS Office Applications 

PREFFERED QUALIFICATIONS 

  • Commerce degree from tier-1 or 2 institutes with exposure in Finance. 
  • Self-motivated team player, ownership, accountability, organizational/prioritization skills, proactive, ability to multitask, ambitious, independent, positive mind set 
  • Proven Automation/ BI experience (Power BI, Alteryx, Tableau)
