Alternatives Capital Formation (ACF) within Asset & Wealth Management (AWM). ACF manages capital raising and strategy for alternatives investments across the full spectrum of alternatives including private equity, private credit, real estate, infrastructure, growth equity, sustainability, secondaries, GP stakes, and hedge funds / liquid alternatives. Within ACF, team members work within product verticals and collaborate across alternatives strategies to identify portfolio-wide solutions. They also partner with other teams within ACF, investing teams and wealth management teams. Professional development initiatives provide opportunities to enhance expertise across all alternative investment products, and to sharpen market knowledge from industry experts investing across the Firm. This specific role sits with ACF Private Credit Vertical.

Principal Responsibilities

  • Marketing and Fundraising: Assist with all aspects of the marketing and fundraising cycle for flagship Private Credit Strategy and related vehicles
  • Investor Reporting: Produce and update investor materials, including marketing presentations, performance and data analysis, and investor update calls
  • Due Diligence and Investor Queries: Help complete due diligence questionnaires, participation in RFPs, support the fulfillment of investor inquiries including ad hoc projects, manage and organize data rooms. 
  • Fund Analysis: Collaborate closely with the Investment team to analyze key metrics and identify effective messages for investor communications about investments, the business, the market environment, and competitive positioning in order to effectively respond to inbound investor requests and inquiries
  • Cross Functional Exposure: Collaborate with stakeholders across the broader product team, client advisors, fund finance, legal, and compliance to develop and execute product strategy 
  • Internal Reporting: Respond to questions internally from senior management and sales channels (private wealth, institutional, third-party distribution) related to the platform

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have: 

  • Excellent communication (written and oral), analytical and interpersonal skills
  • Strong judgement and problem-solving capabilities
  • Strong work ethic, intellectual curiosity, and interest in alternative investments and private credit markets
  • Attention to detail with proven experience of delivering high levels of accuracy
  • Flexibility to handle multiple tasks and work well under pressure
  • Strong organizational skills to manage production of a high volume of quality work within tight timeframes, often including multiple simultaneous projects
  • Teamwork orientation and self-motivation, demonstrating a willingness to take on more responsibility over time
  • Demonstrating a solutions-oriented mindset and versatility across a range of topics 
  • 1-3 years of experience in a similar or related role, previous experience in Capital markets, Corporate Finance, Investment Banking, Asset Management, or related financial services role 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint required
  • Finance background preferred (CA, CFA, MBA or equivalent)
  • Strong understanding of private credit structures, fund mechanics, and alternative investment products; prior exposure is a plus
