Our products include the IsaMill, Jameson Cell, ISASMELT, Albion Process and ISAKIDD technologies. We combine great technology with a small, dynamic team. We partner with clients to deliver solutions that combine process design, engineering design, training, commissioning, and ongoing support for the life of their projects.

We are seeking a skilled Project Engineer to join our Brisbane team. Reporting to the Senior Project Manager, you will be the single point of contact for minor vendor packages, overseeing preliminary engineering, detailed design, procurement, fabrication, QA/QC, testing, and delivery to site.

You will be responsible for:

  • Lead package engineering projects across design, procurement, fabrication, testing, and installation.
  • Coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure design compliance with project requirements and standards.
  • Own and manage the Vendor Data Schedule.
  • Manage technical queries with vendors and support design reviews.
  • Interface with EPCM contractors during execution phases.
  • Monitor schedules, costs, change management and risk management for package scopes.
  • Support procurement, logistics, and construction activities to ensure delivery and site installation.
  • Undertake occasional international travel to vendor premises.

To thrive in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering or related discipline.
  • 5+ years experience in minerals processing, oil & gas, EPCM, or other heavy industries.
  • Familiarity with packaged systems design, equipment integration, and vendor coordination.
  • Experience with EPC contracts (highly regarded).
  • Ability to work with cross-functional and transglobal teams.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong organisational and planning ability.
