Natural Gas Scheduler (Houston, TX)

We are seeking a highly organized and detail oriented Natural Gas Scheduler to join our Glencore Houston team. This position will play a critical role in nominating daily and monthly natural gas transactions. You will work closely with traders ensuring that all gas operations are handled.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage and schedule daily natural gas nominations across multiple pipelines and storage facilities in support of the trading operations.
  • Collect and monitor measurements for company receipt and delivery points and manage imbalances.
  • Monitors pipeline postings for information that could impact day to day scheduling activities.
  • Proactively look for optimization opportunities and communicate with traders.
  • Accurately track all scheduling activities in accounting system, work with invoicing and settlements for end of month.
  • Able to participate in on call activities when required during various weekday, evening, weekend, and holiday hours.

Requirements :

  • CXL or Endur experience a plus
  • Experience with major pipelines preferred.
  • Minimum 3+ years of scheduling experience
  • Must be able to communicate effectively and have strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
