What is the Investor Services group responsible for?
Global Investor Services is a fully integrated, end‑to‑end function within Franklin Templeton Private Markets, responsible for delivering a white‑glove, client‑centric service model across the full product and platform lifecycle. The team partners closely with Product, Sales, Legal, Compliance, Fund Administration, Transfer Agents, Broker Dealers/RIAs and third‑party platforms to support product onboarding, ongoing operations, and investor servicing for Franklin Templeton’s Private Market/Alternatives investment offerings.
Investor Services serves as the primary point of contact for internal and external inquiries, overseas key service providers, manages operational workflows such as subscriptions, capital activity, and reporting, and drives continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the investor and advisor experience globally.
What is the Sr. Associate, Private Markets Investor Services responsible for?
The Global Investor Services Associate supports day‑to‑day execution across client servicing, operational coordination, and inquiry management for Franklin Templeton Private Markets products. The role partners with senior Investor Services team members to ensure timely, accurate, and consistent handling of investor, advisor, platform, and internal inquiries, while helping maintain service standards and operational controls across the business.
The Associate plays a key role in supporting product onboarding activities, ongoing fund operations, and platform relationships, while developing a strong understanding of Franklin Templeton Private Markets products, platforms, and servicing models. This position offers exposure across the full investor lifecycle and close collaboration with cross‑functional stakeholders globally.
What are the ongoing responsibilities of Sr. Associate, Private Markets Investor Services?
Serves as a point of support for internal and external inquiries related to Franklin Templeton Private Markets products, including subscriptions, redemptions, capital calls, distributions, statements, tax documentation, and general operational questions, ensuring same‑day acknowledgment and timely resolution in line with Investor Services standards.
Assists in managing inquiry intake, tracking, documentation, and follow‑up, helping maintain a single source of truth for client communications and identifying recurring themes, trends, and opportunities for process improvement.
Partners with senior team members to support product onboarding and platform launches, including coordinating operational setup, documentation readiness, and ongoing servicing requirements with internal teams and external partners.
Supports oversight of Transfer Agents, fund administrators, and other service providers by assisting with data reviews, issue tracking, escalation coordination, and service‑level monitoring.
Collaborates with Product, Sales, Legal, Compliance, and Finance teams to support fund events such as launches, tenders, mergers, repurchase offers, and other strategic initiatives.
Assists in maintaining and enhancing centralized tools, resources, and written materials (e.g., FAQs, platform guides, workflow documentation) to promote consistency and efficiency across Investor Services operations.
Participates in operational projects and continuous improvement initiatives, including process documentation, workflow analysis, and adoption of new servicing tools or technologies.
Develops a working knowledge of Franklin Templeton Private Markets products, platforms, and investor servicing processes, with a focus on delivering a high‑quality, white‑glove client experience.
Develop and cultivate policies and procedures.
What ideal qualifications, skills & experience would help someone to be successful?
Typically, 5-8 years related experience in financial services, operations, client services, fund administration, transfer agency, custody, or a related role; experience supporting alternative investment products is a plus.
Strong organizational and time‑management skills, with the ability to manage multiple inquiries, tasks, and deadlines in a fast‑paced, service‑oriented environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly and professionally interact with internal stakeholders, service providers, and client‑facing teams.
Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to follow operational processes while identifying potential gaps, risks, or opportunities for improvement.
Comfort working across teams and functions, including Product, Sales, Legal, Compliance, Fund Administration, and external partners.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); experience with CRM, workflow, or inquiry management systems is a plus.
Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret information, track issues through resolution, and support reporting or documentation efforts.
