The Specialist will act as a primary operational and systems contact for Front Office teams, supporting trade lifecycle management, valuations, issue resolution, and onboarding for new accounts and securities. The role involves compiling controls and metrics, testing and improving processes and systems, monitoring trade failures, and escalating operational risks. You will liaise with traders, portfolio managers, brokers, custodians, and global teams to ensure accurate, timely settlements and client reporting, and contribute to process improvements and operating model refinement. The position requires strong market/product knowledge and technical proficiency with platforms like OMGEO, Charles River, Bloomberg, Power BI and Alteryx.

About the Department:
The Middle Office Client Services Group enables smooth trade execution by supporting Core Operations and partnering closely with Front Office teams. The team collaborates with traders, portfolio managers, Operations, and Technology to resolve operational issues, improve processes, and ensure accurate, timely trade lifecycle management. Joining this group offers exposure to global markets, cross‑functional teamwork, and opportunities to strengthen analytical, product, and problem‑solving skills.
How You Will Add Value?
Client Service Support:
You will serve as the primary contact for Front Office operational and system queries.
You will support global teams on transactions, valuations, and issue resolution.
You will analyze and track issues until resolved.
You will liaise with internal and external stakeholders to address discrepancies.
You will provide system support to traders and portfolio managers.
Controls & Metrics:
You will compile broker metrics and Front Office statistics.
You will track queries and issues to strengthen transparency.
You will design improved control processes.
You will collect and share feedback from global teams with custodians.
Process Improvement:
You will test new systems and functions.
You will help refine the Middle Office operating model.
You will identify ways to enhance workflows, reduce risk, and increase efficiency.
Risk Management:
You will monitor failed or incomplete trades to ensure timely settlement.
You will track error trends and escalate concerns.
You will document process gaps for risk assessments.
On‑Boarding:
You will support onboarding for new accounts, securities, and brokerage setups.
You will assist with client conversions, migrations, and account‑level events.
Market & Product Knowledge:
You will stay informed on market initiatives, trends, and new products.
You will participate in Network Management calls to expand market understanding.
Relationship Management:
You will maintain strong relationships with traders and portfolio managers.
You will participate in service reviews and broker performance discussions.
You will ensure client reporting is delivered accurately and on time.
You will maintain regular communication with brokers and custodians.
What Will Help You Be Successful?
Experience, Education & Certifications:
Graduate or Post‑Graduate with 5+ years in Global Trade Support or client‑facing operations
Experience in mutual funds or investment banking
Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast‑paced environment
Strong market and financial services understanding
Exposure to global operations is an advantage
Technical Skills:
Experience with OMGEO, MISYS, Charles River, and Bloomberg
Knowledge of Fixed Income, Equity, FX, and Derivatives
Understanding of settlements, corporate actions, pricing, and security master
Proficiency in MS Office, Power BI, and Alteryx
Soft Skills:
Strong written and verbal communication
Effective problem solving and analytical thinking
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work under pressure
Collaborative and relationship‑oriented mindset
Work Shift Timings - 6:30 PM - 3:30 AM IST (Should be flexible)
