About the department:
The Application Development team builds and supports the internal systems that power ClearBridge’s global investment, research, and operational functions. The team partners closely with colleagues in New York and across international offices, working in a collaborative, engineering‑focused environment. Analyze systems and contribute to solution design.
Design and build integrations and workflow automations.
Develop and configure applications and services.
Test and refine business logic and application enhancements.
Resolve system issues and support performance optimization.

Strategic Responsibilities:

What will help you be successful in this role?
Experience, Education & Certifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
5+ years of software development experience.
3+ years of leadership experience.
Knowledge of investment‑industry systems is a plus.
Technical Skills:
Strong Java or C# development skills.
Experience with Azure Integration Services.
Ability to build REST and SOAP services.
Front‑end familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, and jQuery
Strong SQL and ORM experience.
Experience migrating or building applications in Azure.
Understanding of CI/CD and DevOps practices.
Soft Skills:
Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly.
Comfort working in financial or investment‑management environments.
Strong collaboration skills.
Ability to motivate and guide a team.
