About the Department:

  • The Investment Risk team ensures highquality risk data and reporting that support informed portfolio decisions across the firm. The team works closely with Risk Managers and investment teams to assess market, liquidity, and concentration risks while developing automated reporting tools that strengthen business intelligence. You will join a collaborative group that values analytical rigor, continuous learning, and exposure to diverse investment strategies.

How You Will Add Value?

Core Responsibilities:

You will:

  • Compile accurate data and reports for risk analysis.

  • Identify and reconcile data or model issues.

  • Deliver timely reports to internal stakeholders.

Data Validation & Maintenance (60%):

  • Support assigned data models and asset classes.

  • Resolve lowcomplexity data issues.

  • Validate and maintain data quality across internal systems.

  • Review automated controls and complete issue resolution.

  • Assist with new account setup.

Reporting (20%):

  • Run standard risk reports and queries.

  • Deliver reports according to defined service levels.

  • Respond to basic adhoc requests for risk metrics.

  • Test system enhancements with Technology partners.

Data Analysis (20%):

  • Perform adhoc analyses based on specific market conditions.

  • Provide portfolio characteristics and risk statistics as requested.

What Will Help You Be Successful?

Experience, Education & Certifications:

  • Bachelors degree in finance, statistics, engineering, computer science, or similar fields.

  • Minimum 5 years of financial analysis or riskrelated experience.

Technical Skills:

  • SQL and database experience (Azure, Snowflake, AWS).

  • Data analysis and coding skills (Excel, Python, Databricks, machine learning).

  • Visualization experience (Power BI, Tableau).

  • Familiarity with risk modeling tools (Barra, Port, Axioma).

Soft Skills:

  • Understanding of investment management and risk concepts.

  • Curiosity about industry trends and data modeling.

  • Strong organization, prioritization, and timemanagement.

  • Clear written and verbal communication.
