We are seeking an Institutional Client Account Manager to join our Institutional Client Service team in Western Asset Management Singapore. In this role, you will help us deliver exceptional service to our clients, while upholding the highest standards of ethics. You will partner closely with Business Development and Client Relationship Management teams to support and engage institutional clients across Southeast Asia.

Our team provides high‑quality service to institutional clients, helping them meet their investment objectives through timely support, insights, and coordinated delivery. You will work alongside colleagues in Business Development, Marketing, Product, Investments, Legal, and Operations to ensure seamless client experience. As part of a collaborative and globally connected department, you will benefit from cross‑functional exposure, ongoing learning, and opportunities for professional growth.

How You Will Add Value?

  • Act as the main contact for resolving client and internal inquiries.

  • Prepare and deliver client reports on a timely basis.

  • Create briefing materials for client and business development meetings.

  • Coordinate and finalize request‑for‑proposal submissions.

  • Support client account openings, maintenance and closures.

  • Prepare or review presentation materials.

  • Stay informed on products, strategies and markets to support client needs.

  • Contribute to firmwide and departmental initiatives that address client and team priorities.

  • Manage ad‑hoc client projects.

What Will Help You Be Successful in This Role?

Experience, Education & Certifications:

  • Minimum five years of experience in asset management or a related client‑service role

  • Candidates who demonstrate strong capability, attitude, and role fit are encouraged to apply.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance or Economics.

  • Progress toward the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation or a Master of Business Administration (MBA) is an advantage.

Technical Skills:

  • Understanding of investment concepts, especially fixed income.

  • Familiarity with the asset management industry and institutional investors.

  • Strong analytical capabilities with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office 365.

  • Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) systems or tools such as Bloomberg

Soft Skills:

  • Experience in delivering outstanding client service.

  • Strong communication and problem‑solving skills.

  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively.

  • High attention to detail and strong time management.

  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment.
