Fitch Ratings is currently seeking a Market Research Associate to join its Business Relationship Management (BRM) team focused on Corporates, Infrastructure and Project Finance based out of our New York office.

How Youll Make an Impact: 

  • The candidate will support the senior members of the US Corporate Finance BRM Team in managing and developing Fitchs relationships both internally and externally
  • The role requires a basic understanding of the debt capital markets and ratings business. Some exposure to corporate credit analysis is helpful 
  • The candidate will be responsible for research, development, and preparation of marketing materials under guidance from senior members of the team. Individual must be self-sufficient and adept at putting together PowerPoint presentations and working with Excel spreadsheets
  • The candidate will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing quantitative models and databases
  • The candidate will need to monitor fixed income market news, debt issuances, corporate refinancings, LBOs, and M&A activities, and to look out for Fitch rating opportunities

  • Youre a new or upcoming grad in Spring 2026
  • Bachelors degree required, preferably with a degree in Business, Finance or Economics
  • 0-1 years of relevant work experience, knowledge of debt capital markets is a plus

FOR NEW YORK ROLES ONLY: Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $70,000 and $75,000 per year. Actual salaries will be determined on an individualized basis and may vary based on factors including but not limited to education, training, experience, past performance, and other job-related factors.  Base pay is one part of Fitchs total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, long-term incentives, and other benefits sponsored by Fitch.
