Fitch Group is currently seeking a Compliance Officer, at Associate Director level, based in our office in GIFT City, India.

The Compliance Department is responsible for overseeing compliance and regulatory matters for Fitch Ratings business globally.  The Asia Pacific (APAC) Compliance Team operates across Singapore, Hong Kong, Tokyo, Sri Lanka, Beijing and Mumbai, and is led by the Head of Compliance APAC, based in Singapore. 

 

The role is part of the APAC team and will report to an experienced compliance officer located in Singapore. 

 

This newly created role offers an exciting opportunity to work closely with business stakeholders, as well as Legal and Compliance colleagues across Asia Pacific, Europe and the Americas.  The role will support Fitch Ratings operations in the rapidly growing market of GIFT City. 

 

How Youll Make an Impact: 

  • Manage regulatory filings, disclosures and regulatory requests; coordinate responses for appropriate and timely submission
  • Build and maintain constructive relationships with regulators and internal stakeholders
  • Handle internal queries on regulatory requirements and compliance policies
  • Monitor regulatory change, assess impact and implement necessary actions
  • Conduct internal compliance training
  • Provide quality and timely input for compliance reporting and documentation
  • Support compliance projects and other priorities as needed

 

You May be a Good Fit if:

  • 6 to 12 years in compliance, legal, or regulatory roles (financial services and/or regulatory bodies)
  • CFA, law degree, or compliance certification
  • Strong market knowledge and working knowledge of India regulatory requirements
  • Experience supporting regulatory information requests
  • Familiarity with three lines of defence and risk governance
