The Role
The Vice President of Strategic Sourcing is responsible for setting and driving the enterprise sourcing strategy for Fidelity Investments in collaboration with our internal business partners. Situated within Fidelity's Procurement organization, this role leads endtoend category management across a portfolio of spend, drives measurable value creation, and builds a highperforming sourcing organization aligned to business priorities.
The VP of Strategic Sourcing will partner closely with executive stakeholders, finance, legal, risk, and business unit leaders, as well as the broader Procurement organization, to ensure sourcing strategies enable growth, manage risk, and optimize total cost of ownership while maintaining strong vendor relationships, accountability and governance.
Partner with broader team to evolve the enterprise sourcing and category management strategy across multiple indirect and/or direct spend categories.
Lead the development and execution of multiyear category strategies aligned to business objectives, financial targets, and risk tolerance.
Drive value creation through cost optimization, demand management, vendor innovation, and commercial excellence.
Ensure principled use of strategic sourcing methodologies, market intelligence, benchmarking, and datadriven decision making.
Coordinate complex, highvalue sourcing initiatives including RFPs, negotiations, and vendor transitions.
The Expertise and Skills You Bring
Bachelors degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
15+ years of demonstrated ability in strategic sourcing, procurement, category management or commensurate experience within a large, complex organization.
Demonstrated experience leading enterprisescale category portfolios and managing significant spend.
Proven success building and leading large, distributed teams with multiple layers of leadership.
Strong executive presence with the ability to influence and partner at the Csuite level.
Deep experience in strategic negotiations, contract management, and vendor relationship management.
Experience operating in regulated environments is strongly preferred.

The base salary range for this position is $125,000-258,000 USD per year.Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidates relevant experience, and other factors.
Base salary is only part of the total compensation package. Depending on the position and eligibility requirements, the offer package may also include bonus or other variable compensation.
