The Role

We are seeking a hands-on Technical Lead who can support two development teams while remaining deeply engaged in design, implementation, and delivery. This role requires strong technical breadth, the ability to remove complex engineering roadblocks, and clear communication with architects and leadership.

You will be accountable for technical execution across teams from local developer environments to production stability while continuously improving engineering practices, tooling, and delivery outcomes.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

  • Unblock developers across the full development lifecycle, including source control, local environments, CI/CD pipelines, and authentication/authorization.

  • Hands-on delivery: able to pick up and complete any backlog item when needed.

  • Build proof-of-concepts to evaluate solutions and remove technical or architectural roadblocks.

  • Partner with architects and product leadership to align implementation with architectural standards and delivery goals.

  • Drive continuous improvement across engineering practices, tooling, performance, and operational readiness.

  • Clearly communicate technical risks, recommendations, and next steps to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Strong hands-on experience with Java (Spring Boot) and Python; experience with an additional language a plus.

  • Front-end experience with Angular or similar frameworks.

  • Experience building and operating event-driven systems on AWS

  • Solid understanding of resiliency, performance tuning, and failure handling in distributed environments.

  • Hands-on experience with AWS, including cloud-native and serverless services.

  • Familiar with Infrastructure-as-Code technologies for AWS resources

  • Experience troubleshooting production issues using logs, metrics, and tracing.

  • Familiarity with code quality and security tools such as SonarQube.

  • Strong CI/CD experience using Jenkins for both serverless and K8S deployment

  • Solid SQL knowledge, preferred experience with PostgreSQL and Snowflake.

  • Practical experience tuning JPA/Hibernate performance in production.
