About your team

You'll be part of our Project Team supporting a key strategic project within our Workplace/ DC Pension business. The project will entail engagement with many 3rd parties in the Financial industry, as well as internal project deliveries, and in this role you will be reporting to the overall Programme Manager.

About your role

The Senior Project Manager role will support delivery of a variety of exciting and challenging activities/workstreams across the programme.

In this role, you will be responsible for the planning and execution of project activities/workstream. This will include planning, designing, executing, and monitoring every aspect of specific activities/workstreams, including but not limited to the following:

  • Meeting with senior management/stakeholders to identify project requirements, delivery timelines and costs
  • Developing detailed project plans to guide project teams and revising based on changing needs and requirements
  • Engagement with multiple Financial Industry 3rd parties
  • Engagement with all internal operational and functional departments
  • Identifying and assigning project tasks based on the skill sets, experience, and strengths of staff members
  • Monitoring project performance to ensure timely delivery
  • Compiling and submitting project status reports to stakeholders as required
  • Working effectively with relevant stakeholders for efficient project implementation
  • Showing excellent leadership and communication skills to liaise effectively with all project stakeholders and 3rd parties

About you

  • Strong project and risk management skills with experience of working on and managing large and complex change projects in the financial services industry
  • Strong presentation, verbal, and written communication skills; Proven ability/experience of engaging/communicating with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proven ability to work with 3rd Parties across the Financial industry
  • Functional knowledge and experience of Fund/Pension Administration
  • Ability to work across all internal departments - operational and functional
  • Enquisitive mind with strong knowledge of DC Pension administration and/or proven ability to quickly learn functional processes and Technology solutions
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to negotiate and influence
  • Ability to plan, organise, prioritise, and resolve issues, managing multiple tasks and working under pressure and to tight deadlines
  • Commercially minded
  • Experience of governance processes
