Location:  FactSet, 816 Congress Avenue, Suite 1260 Austin, TX 78701. Telecommuting permitted 2 days per week. Must report to FactSets Austin, TX office 3 days per week.

Position Description:

Senior Systems Engineer, Client & External Networking, FactSet Research Systems Inc., Austin, TX:   Design, Implement and maintain network systems to provide services that successfully integrate into our clients, market data vendors and FactSets internal networks.  Monitor and analyze network performance, identify, troubleshoot issues and recommend solutions to improve network performance and reliability. Develop and maintain network documentation, including network diagrams, configuration files, and operational procedures. Work closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to integrate new technologies and applications into FactSets network infrastructure.  Provide technical support to both internal and external stakeholders/clients and assist in resolving network-related problems in timely and efficient manner. Telecommuting permitted 2 days per week. Must report to FactSets Austin, TX office 3 days per week.

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field and at least 5 years of industry experience in the job offered or related occupation. Experience must include work with the following: Network Infra builds, Arista EOS cloud routers, Cisco CSR routers in AWS, Wireshark packet captures, Virtual switching system, VLAN, VLAN trunking protocol (VTP), Port-Channel, Stacking, VPC, VDC, First hop redundancy protocols (HSRP, VRRP), Cisco Catalyst and Nexus platforms, Access control lists, Network Address translation, Static, Dynamic routing protocols ( RIP, OSPF, EIGRP, BGP), VRF, Cisco ISR, ASR routers.

Salary Offered:  $135,000 to $165,000
