Job description
EY's Quantitative Economics and Statistics (QUEST) practice seeks a Senior Economist in Washington, D.C. to analyze and model economic, tax, and regulatory policies. The role requires advanced quantitative skills, policy analysis expertise, and the ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
Primary responsibilities include quantitatively analyzing economic, tax, and regulatory policies, understanding academic economic research, collecting and analyzing relevant data using advanced statistical and coding techniques, writing comprehensive reports, creating dynamic data visualizations, managing multiple client projects, and assisting in project proposal development.
Required experience includes a Master's or Ph.D. in public policy/economics or a quantitative discipline, minimum 5 years of related work experience, strong policy-related economic analysis skills, excellent analytical capabilities, advanced technical proficiency in data processing using Excel, STATA, R, and Python, and demonstrated ability to direct team work.
