Job description
A Legal Counsel role at EY focusing on privacy law and data protection. The position involves supporting digital business models, ensuring compliance with data protection regulations, and developing privacy strategies across the EY German corporate group.
This role involves participating in the introduction of new digital business models, supporting the operational business of German EY corporate entities, and reviewing and accompanying new business models and software during implementation. Key responsibilities include maintaining and developing legally compliant structures, creating policies, and conducting data protection training and awareness measures for different target groups.
Candidates must have a legal qualification in law, business law, or a comparable field with a university/college degree or master's. Multiple years of experience in data protection, IT and contract law, and experience with data protection management systems are required. Preferably with a data protection certification from TÜV, Dekra, or similar, and knowledge of Artificial Intelligence.
