Job description
EY is seeking a Guidewire Java Developer to work on insurance product implementation projects. The role involves collaborating with international teams, developing software solutions, and participating in business insurance transformations with opportunities to work on complex technological challenges.
As a Guidewire Java Developer, you will be responsible for collaborating with team members, developing and implementing project activities to achieve client goals. This includes completing assigned tasks on time, regularly reporting project status, and participating in organizational initiatives across various streams of Guidewire and FADATA implementation projects.
The ideal candidate must have strong experience in Java/Guidewire development, understanding of JVM technologies, and awareness of good coding practices. Required skills include proficiency in Java 8, J2EE, XML, SOAP, REST, SQL, PL/SQL, Spring, Hibernate, and enterprise messaging systems. Strong communication skills, willingness to learn, and ability to adapt to business travel requirements are essential.
