Job description
EY is seeking an experienced Consultant for their Audit team in Frankfurt/Main, Mannheim, or Saarbrücken. The role involves auditing annual and consolidated financial statements for national and international clients using innovative technologies, ranging from startups to global corporations.
Primary responsibilities include independently auditing annual and consolidated financial statements according to various accounting standards (HGB, IFRS, US GAAP), working in international teams across different specialist areas, communicating actively with clients from diverse industries and sizes, developing a deep understanding of business processes and controls, identifying risks, and providing recommendations.
Required experience includes a successfully completed business administration or comparable degree, preferably with initial practical experience such as an internship in auditing, accounting, or controlling. Candidates should be team players with high engagement, responsibility, travel readiness, and a desire to acquire new knowledge, demonstrating strong communication skills in German and English.
EY offers an innovative and multicultural work environment with opportunities for personal and professional growth, including tailored work models, on-and-off-the-job training, flexible work arrangements, international assignments, sports and leisure activities, brand discounts, and retirement plans. The company focuses on helping businesses and entrepreneurs grow beyond their current capabilities.
