Job description
EY is seeking an experienced Assistant Director for their Transaction Diligence team in Scotland. The role involves conducting financial due diligence for corporate and financial clients across various sectors, assessing target companies' finances, identifying risks and opportunities, and providing strategic insights.
The primary responsibilities include managing transaction diligence projects, understanding key business drivers, co-developing approaches with clients, project managing teams, gathering and verifying information, and formulating strategic conclusions and advice.
Candidates must have an ACA, ACCA or equivalent qualification, strong commercial experience in financial due diligence, business development skills, and the ability to provide high-quality client service. Demonstrated experience in planning, preparing, and reviewing complex financial reports and presentations is essential.
