Full Job Description

We are looking for an Experienced Staff (up to 3 years of experience) to join our Tax People Advisory Services (PAS) - Mobility team at EY Lisbon. In this role, you will support multinational organizations and internationally mobile employees in managing global mobility tax, social security, and immigration-related matters.
You will work closely with managers and senior team members to deliver technically sound and practical solutions in a dynamic, international, and collaborative environment, contributing to compliance and advisory engagements across multiple jurisdictions.

 

Key Responsibilities

   Support the delivery of global mobility tax and social security compliance engagements
   Assist in the preparation and review of personal income tax returns for internationally mobile employees
   Support advisory projects related to expatriation, impatriation, cross-border remote work, and international assignments
   Perform tax and social security analyses to assess mobility-related risks and obligations
   Assist with coordination across jurisdictions, working with EY international teams as part of global engagements
   Collect, analyse, and organize employee data related to mobility programs and assignments
   Support client communications and preparation of technical memoranda, reports, and presentations
   Ensure accuracy, quality, and timeliness of deliverables in line with EY methodologies and professional standards

 

Requirements

   Bachelors degree in Tax, Economics, Management, Law, or a related field
   Up to 3 years of professional experience in tax, preferably in personal income tax, global mobility, or international taxation
   Solid understanding of personal income tax principles; exposure to social security or immigration topics is an advantage
   Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
   Good knowledge of Excel; familiarity with tax compliance tools or global mobility platforms is an advantage
   Strong written and verbal communication skills
   Fluency in English, both written and spoken

 

Nice to Have

   Experience in a professional services or consulting environment
   Exposure to global mobility programs, expatriate taxation, or cross-border employment scenarios
   Interest in international taxation, employment tax, and people-related advisory services
   Ability to work with multiple jurisdictions and multicultural teams
