Oracle E-Business Inventory - Logistics Functional Consultant / Manager

 

Location: Katowice - 2 days in office / 3 days remote

Right now, we are looking for Oracle E-Business Inventory Logistics Functional Consultant / Manager to join our Technology Consulting practice where we provide a one-stop solution for end-to-end project implementation enabled by expertise in Oracle products.

 

Your key responsibilities

 

The Oracle E Business Inventory Logistics Functional Consultant / Manager provides leadership and expertise across Oracle EBS Inventory, Warehouse Management, BOM, WIP, and related supply chain modules. The role ensures stability of supply chain operations, drives enhancements, manages system improvements, and partners with business stakeholders to optimise end to end inventory processes.

 

Functional Leadership & Solution Design

  • Lead design and optimisation of Inventory, BOM, WIP, Costing, and Warehouse processes.
  • Define solution roadmaps aligning system capabilities with evolving business needs.
  • Provide SME guidance across multi module supply chain implementations.

 

Configuration & Enhancements

  • Oversee configuration across inventory controls, item attributes, reservations, MRP/MPS, cost management, subinventories, and shipping interfaces.
  • Approve functional design documents, MD50s, and change requests following governance standards.
  • Lead enhancements to improve cycle count, reconciliation, and warehouse operations.

 

Support & Troubleshooting (L3)

  • Provide escalation support for complex issues affecting operations, costing, and order fulfilment.
  • Drive root cause analysis and corrective/preventive solutions.
  • Work with technical teams to resolve customisation and integration issues.
  • Testing, Upgrades & Release Management
  • Guide SIT/UAT cycles for patches, upgrades, and new functionality.
  • Ensure stability after deployments and validate cross module impacts.
  • Participate in Oracle Consulting implementation projects with a focus on developing new solutions and expanding system functionalities within the scope of R&D activities.
  • Collaboration with R&D teams to identify and implement best practices and new Oracle solutions that may enhance the efficiency of business processes.
  • Report the progress of R&D projects and documenting the results of implementations, as well as post-implementation review.

 

Supply Chain Stakeholder Engagement

  • Partner with Logistics, Procurement, Manufacturing, and Finance stakeholders.
  • Lead workshops, solution reviews, and training sessions.
  • Support strategic supply chain transformation initiatives.

 

To qualify for the role, you must have

 

  • Degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, IT, or related field.
  • 7 plus years of Oracle E Business Suite experience, including Inventory & Costing expertise.
  • Strong understanding of supply chain planning, warehouse operations, and costing flows.
  • Proven leadership and stakeholder management skills.

 

Ideally, youll also have

 

  • German or French skills
  • MBA/CA/CMA/CFA qualifications
