3. Role Description
The Junior Consulting Engineer will support EYs Power & Utilities delivery teams, providing technical oversight and coordination of field-based installation and quality activities. This role supervises Quality Assurance Field Engineers, validates compliance to engineering standards, resolves technical issues, and ensures high-quality execution of large-scale utility deployment programmes.
4. Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and guide teams of Quality Assurance Field Engineers.
- Review inspection results and validate adherence to technical and utility standards.
- Support planning, scheduling and route allocation for field operations.
- Conduct on-site verification of escalated technical issues.
- Analyse field data to identify trends, defects and improvement opportunities.
- Support development of quality frameworks and installation standards.
- Prepare structured engineering reports and progress summaries.
- Ensure compliance with EY safety and operational protocols.
