HR Consultant

 

 

The opportunity

 

As our HR Consultant, locally known as People Team Consultant, youll play a critical role in delivering high-quality HR transactional support, policy advice and operational excellence across the business. Youll act as a key connector between employees and specialist Talent teams, ensuring consistent, accurate and human-centred HR support, while contributing to broader Talent initiatives and continuous improvement.

 

This is a hybrid 12-month fixed term opportunity and can be performed from any of our EY offices across Australia. Our roles can potentially be adjusted to work flexibly with reduced hours. Please speak with us about potential options.

 

Your key responsibilities

 

  • Deliver accurate and timely HR transaction processing (e.g. leave, promotions, employment changes) while maintaining data integrity in systems such as SuccessFactors
  • Provide clear, responsive and human-centric HR advice to employees and stakeholders, supporting policy interpretation and employee experience outcomes
  • Collaborate with Talent teams, payroll, mobility and other business functions to ensure seamless and compliant HR operations and continuous improvement

 

Skills and attributes for success

 

  • Experience in customer service or sales
  • Proven administrative experience
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with a proactive and client-focused mindset
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines
