EYs Government and Public Sector (GPS) practice is a robust and emerging practice with tremendous potential for growth - and we are prepared to tap into that potential. Our US GPS practice combines an understanding of the public sectors diverse needs, focused on delivering improved public services, with private sector leading practices. We respond to our clients issues by bringing together highly skilled professionals across Consulting, Assurance, Tax and Strategy and Transactions services. This integrated approach facilitates multidimensional support and flexibility to meet our clients changing needs.
The ServiceNow Developer is responsible for designing and implementing solutions on the ServiceNow platform to support business processes and improve service delivery. They customize and configure applications, workflows, and integrations to meet organizational needs. The role involves collaborating with stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions. The developer troubleshoots issues and ensures the platform operates efficiently and effectively.
Your key responsibilities
Well look to you to interact directly with the customer, stakeholders, and subject matter resources to coordinate, validate and socialize in one or more areas of technology delivery. Your responsibilities will also include to manage, assess and implement changes to the related deliverables. You can expect to help our clients with technology-enabled transformation to achieve their business objectives. Skills and attributes for success
- Experience with scripting and custom application development
- Experience with ServiceNow project execution and responsibilities
- Core Application development using ServiceNow AppEngine
- Overseeing application and workflow configuration
- Developing client-specific reporting processes and integration components
- Working closely with ServiceNow technical teams
- Providing trusted advice on how digital transformation and technology enablement can lead to improved performance
To qualify for the role, you must have
- A bachelor's degree
- 3+ years of ServiceNow technical experience
- Experience delivering large scale ServiceNow engagements or complex IT engagements
- A customer-focused approach to work, and the ability to support the development of digital platform strategies
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance or higher, which will be driven by the engagement requirements.
- Must be willing to work in person as needed depending on the client.
Willingness to travel 20 30% or more. Due to the nature of our work in the Government and Public Sector, work may be required to be completed at client, EY and/or contractor sites. Our goal is to assign professionals to projects within a commutable distance of their work location office. In certain circumstances, travel may be required beyond your work location based on client and project needs.

- We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where youll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business. The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $102,500 to $187,900. The base salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $122,900 to $213,400. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options.
- Join us in our team-led and leader-enabled hybrid model. Our expectation is for most people in external, client serving roles to work together in person 40-60% of the time over the course of an engagement, project or year.
