Job Title

Senior Consultant L3 | SAP S/4HANA SD / Order to Cash (OTC)

 

Role Summary


The Senior Consultant (L3) SAP S/4HANA SD / OTC will play a key role in the end to end design, build, and deployment of SAP S/4HANA Order to Cash processes across implementation and rollout programs. The consultant is expected to bring strong functional expertise, hands on configuration capability, and prior S/4HANA implementation experience, working closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, and project leadership to deliver high quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities


SAP S/4HANA SD / OTC Solution Design & Build

Lead end to end SD / OTC process design in SAP S/4HANA covering:

  • Sales order management
  • Pricing and condition techniques
  • Deliveries and shipping
  • Billing, credit/debit memos, returns
  • Integration with FI (AR, revenue), MM, WM/EWM

 

Translate business requirements into functional designs, including:

  • Functional Design Documents (FDDs)
  • WRICEF specifications (in collaboration with technical teams)
  • Configure SAP S/4HANA SD modules in line with SAP best practices and clean core principles.
  • Implementation & Deployment Experience

 

Actively contribute to SAP S/4HANA implementations (greenfield / brownfield / selective carve out) and country rollouts.

  • Support all phases of SAP Activate:
  • Explore & Realize (fit to standard workshops, configuration)
  • Deploy (UAT, cutover, go live, hypercare)
  • Identify process gaps and S/4HANA innovations (e.g., Fiori apps, simplified data models) and propose optimal solutions.

 

Testing, Data & Cutover

  • Lead and support:
  • Unit testing, System Integration Testing (SIT), and UAT cycles
  • Test script preparation and defect resolution
  • Support data migration activities related to SD (customers, pricing, open orders, open AR items).
  • Contribute to cutover planning and execution for OTC scope.

 

Stakeholder & Team Collaboration

  • Work directly with business users, process owners, and client stakeholders to validate solutions.
  • Coordinate with ABAP, integration, and reporting teams to ensure end to end OTC process integrity.
  • Mentor junior consultants and review their deliverables for quality and completeness.

Required Skills & Experience

Mandatory Experience

  • 69 years of SAP SD experience, with at least 23 full cycle SAP S/4HANA implementations.

 

Strong hands on experience in:

  • SAP S/4HANA SD configuration
  • Order to Cash end to end processes
  • Functional & Technical Skills

 

Deep understanding of:

  • Pricing procedures and condition techniques
  • Output management
  • Credit management

 

Strong integration knowledge with:

  • FI (AR, Revenue Recognition)
  • MM, WM/EWM

 

Experience working with Fiori apps and S/4HANA simplifications.

Soft Skills

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision at L3 level.
  • Experience mentoring junior consultants and contributing to team capability building.

Preferred / Nice to Have

  • Experience in SAP S/4HANA Cloud (Private or Public Edition).
  • Exposure to industry specific OTC scenarios (Manufacturing, Consumer Products, Retail, etc.).

  • Operates as a workstream level subject matter expert for SD / OTC.
  • Owns solution areas independently and contributes to overall program success.
