Opportunity: Manager Sustainability & Decarbonization (EYParthenon EMEIA)

Join a highly strategic team fully dedicated to Decarbonization Strategy, ClimateTech, and Sustainability, operating across the EMEIA region within EYParthenon.
Led by Marco Duso, EYParthenons Global Sustainability Leader, this team plays a key role in shaping the firms growth agenda in the transformation space and works directly with leading global organizations.

Your key responsibilities:

As a Manager, you will contribute to EYParthenons market impact through several strategic responsibilities:

Market & Business Development

• Drive origination and market development across decarbonization, energy transition, climatetech and sustainabilitylinked transformation themes.
• Build and refine commercial offerings, value propositions and gotomarket approaches in priority sectors and technologies.

Offer & Solution Development

• Strengthen EYParthenons Sustainability & Decarbonization offerings by contributing expertise in priority topics.
• Develop perspectives, frameworks, and thought leadership.

Targeted Engagement Support

• Provide senior guidance on highimpact transformation programs requiring deep sustainability or climatetech expertise.
• Shape direction, challenge assumptions, and provide solution depth on multiworkstream client engagements.

Skills and attributes for success

We seek senior professionals who combine consultingcaliber leadership with realeconomy sustainability transformation experience across multiple clients.

You bring:

• Experience steering large, multiworkstream transition or decarbonization programs for corporates, investors or public entities.
• Background in toptier strategy consulting (Project Leader / Principal level) or a senior functional career with significant multiclient advisory exposure.
• Ability to engage credibly at Csuite level and generate commercial momentum in emerging sustainability domains.
• Strong ability to synthesize complex technical topics and guide crossfunctional teams across technology, operations, finance and strategy.
• Expertise in at least one advanced topic, such as:
• Adaptation & infrastructure resilience
• Industrial decarbonization (electrification, energy efficiency, lowcarbon operating models, value chains, etc.)
• AI use cases in energy and decarbonization
• Climatetech and/or deeptech scaling (advanced materials, energy storage, industrial process optimization)

Your mindset:

• Passion for climate and sustainability this is a missiondriven team.
• Leadership across 1520+ sustainability or energy transition engagements with clear strategic influence.
• Commercial, opportunityshaping mindset with comfort in developing new offerings and building relationships.
• Experience across varied project types (strategy, transformation, operations, transaction support, due diligence).
• Ability to work effectively across geographies, sectors and EY service lines to build integrated solutions.
• Advanced degree preferred (MBA, MSc, MEng, PhD), especially related to energy systems, industrial systems, climate or climatetech.
