Data Engineer

Location: Katowice - 2 days in office / 3 days remote

The opportunity

We are looking for a top-notch technology savvy specialists willing to move our projects on the new track! You will use the most advanced technology stack and have an opportunity to implement new solutions while working  with top leaders in their industries. As a part of our global team you will participate in international projects mostly based and implemented on major cloud providers. 

Your key responsibilities

As a Data Engineer you are responsible for building data solutions that enable our clients and business partners to make efficient decisions with ease. You are able to design robust solutions on state-of-the-art compute engines such as Databricks and modern data warehousing solutions like MS Fabric or Snowflake.

• Solving complex business problems on a large scale.
• Participating in cross-functional initiatives and collaborating across various domains.
• Interacting with engineers, product/project managers, and partners from all over the world.

To qualify for the role, you must have

• 2 years of experience in Data Engineering area.
• 1 year of experience in Big Data.
• You are familiar with SQL and/or Python.
• Hands-on experience in Cloud solutions, like Azure, AWS or GCP.
• Understanding of databases, data warehouses, data lakes.
• You have a strong background in building data pipelines, distributed data processing, software engineering components and data modeling concepts.
• Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills, particularly those that apply to a big data environment.
• Experience with version control system.
• Experience in using Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.).

Ideally, youll also have

• Experience in Databricks and pySpark.
• Object oriented programming experience.
