Our people work with engagement teams from pursuit to delivery as well as powering EYs enablement functions.

The Cross-Border Travel Support (CBTS) is part of Risk Management in EY. CBTS team supports Engagements in the planning and deployment of cross border resources. CBTS works closely with all service lines to coordinate and execute transactional support for cross-border travelers. CBTS Global Support Center (GSC) team is aligned to GDS Risk Management Services supports the Global CBTS team to deliver these services for global Engagements.

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Analyst to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the backbone of the assessment of immigration and tax risk related to cross border travel, ensuring that our processes run smoothly and comply with all necessary regulations. Your day-to-day activities will involve a mix of research, data gathering, coordination, and administrative tasks that are crucial for maintaining our business integrity and efficiency.

Your key responsibilities

  • Data Gathering: Identify potential cross border travels for Engagement and gather data related to the travel and process the same for further assessment
  • Work independently with onshore CBTS Ops team on various projects and initiatives
  • Diligent Follow-ups: Maintain a proactive approach to follow-ups, ensuring all relevant and required data is timely submitted
  • Cross-functional Coordination: Seamlessly coordinate with business, immigration and tax teams in EY globally to ensure the initiation of compliance requirements
  • This role requires interaction with EY business leaderships including Partners to gather details about the engagement, secure required approval for cost etc
  • Assist with the day-to-day functioning and upkeep of risk management tools and systems, ensuring they are running smoothly and efficiently.
  • Update and maintain the integrity of data within risk management systems, guaranteeing both accuracy and completeness.
  • Engage in the testing and deployment of new functionalities or updates within the risk management tools, contributing to continuous improvement efforts.
  • Perform preliminary assessments of client and engagement documentation to pinpoint potential risks and escalate them for in-depth evaluation.
  • Actively participate in team meetings, providing task updates and engaging in discussions aimed at process optimization.
  • Take part in training sessions to enhance your understanding and proficiency in risk management practices and tools.
  • Keep up with of the latest industry trends, best practices, and regulatory developments that may influence risk management procedures.

 

Qualifications:

  • Strong research and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
  • Demonstrated research and analytical prowess.
  • Familiarity with compliance processes and legal documentation.
  • Proficient in using corporate internal tools and software.
  • Ability to work independently on projects and as part of a team
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and thoroughness.

To qualify for the role, you must have

  • Education: Graduate/post-graduate
  • Experience: 0 to 2 years of relevant experience
  • Certification Requirements: Any relevant certifications will be an added advantage

 

Ideally, youll also have

  • Flexibility to work in rotational shifts including night shifts
