Full Job Description

Not all prop trading firms are created equal. If you’re a Quant Researcher who has previously considered a career move, you’ll likely have asked yourself the following questions, :

  • What infrastructure will I have access to?
  • What is the company’s true appetite for risk?
  • What is the track record of the team / company I’ll be joining?

These are just a few questions that will be important to you if you’re skilled at turning raw data into alpha. After all, contributing directly to profitable strategies is no easy feat. Why move?

Well, we’re working with a global trading firm which has been consistently generating profits on a proprietary basis for decades, which is hiring the brightest minds in HFT to scale their fully algorithmic trading efforts.

You’ll be building HFT strategies at the core of this business by:

  • Diving into petabytes of order book data
  • Building predictive signals to incorporate into your trading strategy
  • Partnering with world-class engineers to optimise the latency and execution of your strategy

What you’ll need to have done:

  • Worked in a high-calibre proprietary trading firm / team before
  • Built profitable trading strategies, in any market
  • Partnered with developers before, seeing how your ideas in Python are deployed in C++

What you can expect to join:

  • A culture which financial rewards curiosity, creativity and competitiveness
  • Teams which are home to best-in-class professionals for their area of expertise
  • A collaborative, intellectually stimulating environment where the best idea wins

If you like the idea of trading at the speed of thought, please apply with your most recent CV to the link attached.
