About the Role:

As a LPG Principal Analyst, you will be responsible for collecting, verifying, and publishing price and market data to provide transparency and insights for decision-making. You will produce accurate price assessments for Asia LPG markets, monitor trends, and contribute to analytical reporting to support business and market stakeholders. You will act as a subject-matter expert for your business area, leading projects or programs to ensure accurate and timely market intelligence. You will be part of the Energy team and report directly to Director of Content

You Will:

  • Gather, validate, and maintain pricing and market data from internal and external sources, acting as a subject-matter expert who leads projects or programs to ensure data accuracy and methodological consistency.

  • Monitor trends, market dynamics, and regulatory changes that impact pricing, anticipating issues and developing tailored solutions.

  • Execute and refine the Dow Jones Energy pricing methodology to publish authoritative daily LPG assessments that drive industry benchmarks.

  • Design and oversee the production of high-level reports and dashboards, ensuring that pricing information is communicated with precision across global teams.

  • Produce sophisticated news coverage and long-form analytical content that identifies deep-seated industry trends and provides forward-looking market perspective.

  • Represent the organization as a technical expert at major industry events, leveraging these platforms to strengthen market relationships and gather competitive intelligence.

  • Provide editorial coverage and support for colleagues as necessary

You Have:

  • Deep expertise across multiple areas in price reporting, market data analysis, or a related field.

  • 7-10 years of prior experience in price reporting, energy markets, or a related industry.

  • Proven ability to lead projects, initiatives, or small teams, with accountability for outcomes and team effectiveness within a defined scope.

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

  • Language Skills (Preferred): Proficiency in Mandarin, Japanese, or Korean is an advantage but not a prerequisite for the role.
