About the Role:

As Executive Director - Sales, you will carry full responsibility for sales strategy and sales execution across Latin America. You will have an in-depth understanding of the region and the ability to develop a commercial strategy grounded in the client's business goals, as it applies to industry trends in Energy, Chemical, and Renewables across Latin America. You will be responsible for driving multi-disciplined teams, integrating products and services to meet business needs, and building the frameworks that translate bold sales strategy into measurable, scalable execution. You will report to the Head of Global Sales.

About the Team:

Dow Jones Energy delivers trusted market intelligence, pricing benchmarks, and forward-looking insight to leading energy companies, traders, financial institutions, and governments worldwide. Operating at the center of global commodity markets, we support critical commercial decisions across oil, gas, power, renewables, and the energy transition.

You Will:

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans that drive both new and existing account revenue growth for Dow Jones Energy across Latin America

  • Implement sales processes, methodologies, and organizational structures that will scale to support rapid growth from both organic sources and through client acquisition

  • Provide functional leadership and drive accountability by reviewing major account plans, monitoring and managing the sales pipeline, tracking progress against plans, and ensuring accurate planning of revenue and expenses

  • Set team direction, focus, and sales initiatives as needed to deliver on commitments

  • Recruit, mentor, and motivate a world-class sales team capable of growing with the business

  • Collaborate closely with peers and colleagues to share best practices and ensure consistency across the organization.

  • Positively manage change internally and externally to ensure new programs, products, and approaches are embraced by the team

  • Work collaboratively with the team to ensure all are working towards the target customer account's business strategy

  • Identify, coordinate, and deploy resources into customer accounts

  • Serve as the escalation point on issues requiring immediate attention for targeted accounts

  • Work with business leaders to incorporate customer feedback and analytical insights in the formation of new products and solutions

You Have:

  • 15+ years sales and sales management experience

  • Strong knowledge of the Energy and Chemical industry and relevant experience selling market data

  • A well-developed executive presence with the credibility to represent Dow Jones Energy in interactions with clients, colleagues, and partners

  • Proven sales leadership to meet and exceed sales targets for a similar size and growth-oriented organization both revenue and headcount

  • Solid sales planning and regional outcome management

  • Successfully translated bold sales strategies into measurable execution plans

  • Market-validated skills around building, developing, and retaining high-performance teams

  • A track record of working effectively across functions and geographies to assess options, incorporate input, and drive broad agreement around business priorities

  • Experience driving external sales relationships at the C-suite level

  • Willingness to travel extensively across the territory

  • University degree or relevant work experience in the Energy industry
