Role Overview

We are looking for a Settlement Operations Expert/ Project Lead- AVP with at least 10 years of experience in process automation development, leading and managing programs including but not limited to systems implementation, efficiency, automation and transition management. The candidate will oversee all aspects of projects, identify deadlines, responsibilities, resources, monitor and track progress of the projects. The role is expected to prepare periodic update/ communication and/ or dashboard for Senior Business Leaders locally and in the region.

The ideal candidate should have experience in leading and managing projects including assessment, configure, test and implement enhancements and application interface functionality to support releases based on agreed requirements and designs. The goal is to ensure that the programs , initiatives/ automations deliver the desirable outcome to our organization. The role would require co-ordination, management and communication with multiple stakeholders within the Operations team and within the region.

Lastly, the candidate is also expected to identify areas of opportunity and implementing process improvements through various transformation tools within the bank in accordance to business requirements and control framework.

Your Responsibilities

  • Ideate, design, document, develop, and manage transformation projects

  • Promote change mindset, advocate staff upskilling and lead team trainings

  • Work independently with minimal supervision, self-motivated, and keeping management up to speed in projects progress and escalate issues timely

  • Review processes if they are fit for automation , and be responsible for creation of process design documents/ solution design documents for connectivity between underlying applications

  • Review and perform assessment of Solution Design Documents to ensure alignment to Finance Architecture and Design principles

  • Coordinate with internal resources and third parties/vendors for the execution of projects

  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and budget

  • Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility

  • Develop detailed project plan to monitor and track progress

  • Report and escalate to management as needed

  • Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress

  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation

  • Coordinate cross-project activities

  • Apply change & risk management principles

  • Manage the relationship with all stakeholders

  • Continually develop leadership skills

  • Maintain proficiency

Your Skills and Experience

  • Proven experience as a Program/ Project Manager

  • Experience managing projects through the full life cycle

  • You should be familiar with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Waterfall & AGILE and Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL).

  • Strong familiarity with project management tools, methodologies, and best practices

  • Extensive experience in developing on data visualization, ETL & RPA platforms - Alteryx, Tableau, Microsoft Power Suite, Blueprism, PentahoAVP

  • Advanced Microsoft Office knowledge

  • Python and VBA knowledge is an advantage

  • Certified Lean Six Sigma, PMP or PRINCE2 certification a plus

  • Ability to manage senior stakeholders, strong interpersonal, organizational, and prioritization skills, detail oriented, and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) / PRINCE II certification is a plus

  • Excellent analytical skills and proven problem-solving ability

  • Strong team player & interpersonal skills
