Role Description

The Senior Vendor Risk Management Specialist in Trust and Agency Services will lead the assessment, mitigation, and monitoring of risks associated with third-party vendors engagements across TAS Technology. This role ensures compliance with regulatory requirements, internal policies, and industry best practices while supporting strategic sourcing and vendor governance.

Your key responsibilities

Risk Assessment & Due Diligence

  • Conduct comprehensive risk assessments for new and existing vendors using Deutsche Bank’s Third Party Risk Management (TPRM) framework.

  • Evaluate vendor risk profiles, including cybersecurity, data privacy, and operational resilience.

  • Ensure compliance with global regulatory frameworks (e.g., BaFin MaRisk, ECB outsourcing guidelines, FFIEC, MAS).

Governance & Compliance

  • Implement governance monitoring for each vendor relationships in line with Deutsche Bank’s TPRM Policy.

  • Act as primary contact for audits, regulatory reviews, and internal assurance activities related to vendor risk.

Lifecycle Management

  • Oversee end-to-end vendor risk processes, including onboarding, contract reviews, performance monitoring, and offboarding.

  • Support post-deal activities such as risk reviews and change requests.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Collaborate with Service Owners, Divisional Vendor Management Offices (DVMO), Global Procurement, and Control Functions.

  • Prepare and present risk analysis, dashboards, and KPI reports to senior management.

Continuous Improvement

  • Awareness and familiarity with changes to the vendor risk management policies to align with emerging threats and regulatory changes.

  • Drive automation and data analytics initiatives for risk reporting and performance tracking.

Your skills and experience

Education:
Degree in Risk Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred.

Experience:

  • 5–8 years in vendor risk management, third-party risk, or operational risk within financial services.

  • Experience with risk management systems and tools (preferably dbTPRM).

Technical & Regulatory Knowledge:

  • Strong understanding of global outsourcing regulations and risk frameworks.

  • Familiarity with cybersecurity, data privacy, and business continuity standards.

Core Competencies:

  • Analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with BI tools (e.g., Tableau) is a plus.
