We are looking for an intern in our Service Executive team, within the Private Banking Department in Geneva.

The Private Banking operation is a core component of Deutsche Bank and provides access to the full range of the firm’s services. As a global, multi-jurisdictional Private Bank, we offer dedicated and holistic solutions to (ultra) high-net-worth families. With our superior lending, FX and fixed income capabilities combined with full transparent access to global markets as well as deep institutional research and industry insights, we have a strong position as a bank for family entrepreneurs.

During your internship, you will receive guidance and training in all technical aspects of our business and work alongside Service Executive Team and get contact with many colleagues from other functions.

In our challenging and fast-paced environment, you will learn to understand Relationship Managers and Client Service Executives needs to best support them, communicate effectively with them while keeping a client-oriented mindset at all times to deliver the best possible solutions for our clients.

In addition, you will need strong communication skills, a high level of motivation, a fascination for finance plus a collaborative approach to working.

Responsibilities

  • Work hand-in-hand with Relationship Managers and CSE to provide advice and support them in their internal activities to deliver excellent client service

  • You will need to understand internal support functions’ (Middle Office, Lending, Pricing teams, CLM, etc.) needs in terms of internal policies and regulatory requirements and serving as internal point of contact between Coverage Teams and support functions,

  • As part of your development plan, rotate among the different groups of expertise (see details below) to develop a strong knowledge of the Bank’s processes:

    • Mandates and pricing management

    • Transaction management, Ad-hoc client inquiries

    • Creation of credit Limits through the global tool\

    • Account closure and workout management.

Skills:

  • Fluent (written and oral) in English and Portuguese; other languages are a plus (e.g., German, French, Spanish, Italian)

  • Meticulous, methodical, and concise, with a strong attention to detail

  • Strong team player, also able to multi-task

  • Client-oriented
