Position Overview

Overview

As an employee of Deutsche Bank in Argentina, you will provide support and ancillary services for Investment Bank activities by licensed DB staff on behalf of the relevant DB legal entities.

What Youll Do

  • Conduct comprehensive research and analysis of general business activity in the Country and provide first-hand market insights to help identify potential business opportunities for the Investment Bank

  • Help identify potential macro, political and general industry trends that could provide specific business opportunities or present specific challenges for the general business activities of interest to DB in the Country.

  • Provide assistance in the preparation of materials for transactions for the Latin America coverage team, including preparation of detailed memoranda and presentations, and analyzing the key attributes of client companies

  • Provide assistance in the preparation of financial models and credit analysis.

  • Stay up-to-date with local regulatory requirements and ensure strict adherence to relevant laws, rules, regulations and internal DB policies relevant to DBs representative activities in Argentina.

  • Provide local support, on-the-ground knowledge and client connectivity during the onboarding process for clients in the country.

  • Lead/participate in internal discussions and maintain a pipeline and deal tracking system to track progress and follow up on potential business opportunities for the industry and product teams, including internal calls and other status updates.

  • Develop and maintain a centralized country business plan in consultation with product and industry bankers.

Skills Youll Need

  • Undergraduate degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field (mandatory)

  • Excellent academic record

  • Masters in Finance or CFA candidates (strongly preferred)

  • Work experience in Investment Banking, Corporate Finance, Private Equity, Equity Research or Capital Markets (strongly preferred)

  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint

  • Spanish and English language proficiency

Skills That Will Help You Excel

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken

  • Strong analytic skills

  • Leadership

  • Self-motivated
