Overview

TDR Turkey performs and coordinates cyber event management, monitoring and response activities in line with the local legislation and Deutsche Bank Group’s operational security setup with the aim to prevent cyber events or reduce their potential impact on banking operations and the overall information security at Deutsche Bank AS. The function also coordinates the communication between the bank, the regulator and TR-CERT, and it forms a core part of the Bank’s Institutional CERT/SOME team.

We are seeking an experienced Information Security Analyst to carry out the day-to-day activities of the function. Existing experience in the work environment of an Institutional CERT/SOME team and/or a Security Operations Centre, a broad knowledge of the current IT-security topics (cyber security risk landscape, cyber incident response, malware campaigns and threat actors and information security awareness) as well as local Information Security and data protection legislation are requirements for this role.

Your Key Responsibilities:

The job function comprises broad range of responsibilities:

  • Day-to-day TDR/SOME operational activities:
    • Monitoring and triaging of security events.
    • Incident response which can also include first level forensic activities.
    • Perform technical analysis of security events.
  • Implementation and adjustment of monitoring, filtering and alerting rules and use cases within the SIEM to cover the necessary controls.
  • Regular collaboration with teams in DB Group across the globe.
  • Support with onboarding of new security technologies considering local requirements.
  • Preparation of security incident and event statistics reports.
  • Reviewing and testing of information security and cyber event scenarios and response plans, and reporting the results.
  • Manage correspondence with relevant external authorities (Sectoral CERT/SOME, TR-CERT).
  • Participate in global and local forums and team meetings relating to Information Security.
  • Support Information Security projects and activities.
  • Support internal and external audit activities.
  • Act as Country CISO Turkey support and perform assigned activities.

Your Skills and Experience:

  • Excellent IT security skills, preferably with an Information Security background.
  • Work experience in an Institutional CERT/SOME and/or SOC environment using common security solutions.
  • Experience in responding to and performing technical analysis of security events.
  • Experience with SIEM solutions, preferably Splunk (fundamentals).
  • Good understanding of Turkish Information Security and data protection/privacy legislation.
  • Turkish financial service organizations work experience are an advantage.
  • Very good communication and organization skills.
  • Independent and reliable working style.
  • Fluent in Turkish and English.
  • IT literate and good working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
  • CompTIA Cybersecurity certificates (Security+, CySA+), SANS or similar considered as an asset.
  • Information Security certificates such as CISM, CISSP or similar considered as an asset.
