The Institutional Client Group (ICG) is a global sales team covering various institutional clients including Hedge Funds, Insurance companies, Asset Managers, Banks, Central Banks, Sovereign Wealth Funds and Private Banks. In APAC, we have salespeople located across the regional hubs in Singapore, Hong Kong, Tokyo, Sydney as well as in several countries across Asia

Your key responsibilities:

Part of the Macro Sales desk, responsibility will be:

  • Cover institutional clients including family offices, asset management companies and distributors for FX & Rates products

  • Originate new clients for the bank and drive credit, KYC, documentation and approvals in line DB’s policies and framework

  • Identify opportunities, structure solutions and execute in close collaboration with trading, structuring, coverage focusing on CIOs, CFOs and asset managers

  • Focus will be on products such as FX/Rates/Commodities vanilla and exotics products (both funded and unfunded) depending upon clients’ requirements

  • Measured on revenue growth, increase in client penetration, share of wallet, cross selling and acquisition of significant deals and clients

Your skills and experience:

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • For D - Minimum 10 years of experience in macro (FX, Rates, Commodities) across funded (notes, bonds, repos, etc) and unfunded products (options, TRS, Bond Forwards, etc)

  • For VP - Minimum 6 years of experience in macro (FX, Rates, Commodities) across funded (notes, bonds, repos, etc) and unfunded products (options, TRS, Bond Forwards, etc)

  • Expertise and a global/regional network within coverage and product organization to offer truly integrated and effective solutions

  • Outstanding quantitative and analytical skills, including structuring and pricing expertise

  • Solid understanding of market landscape and regulatory regime across jurisdictions when it comes to dealing with aforementioned client segments

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to develop and enhance relationships with senior client contacts

  • Fluency in Mandarin will be preferred to liase with clients across the region

  • Strong sense of accountability and integrity with solid credit knowledge

  • Driven and result orientated

  • Strong team player
