Join Deutsche Bank Investment Banking Coverages team in Paris. Consistently recognised by the industry for activities in Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) and capital raising, our Corporate Finance business is a market leader in Investment Banking and Capital Markets. We provide a full range of investment banking services, including public and private equity and debt financing, M&A advice and private investment services for corporate and institutional clients.

You will be supporting the European COO of the division and exposed to senior leadership on a regular basis. The roles responsibilities include providing in-depth analysis on strategic initiatives, managing headcount, planning & forecasting financials, tracking key performance indicators (KPIs), leading people and AI strategy, in addition to helping the division run on a day-to-day basis. Ability to interact with bankers across all titles especially senior stakeholders is important in this role. Must have the ability to multi-task given the breadth of the role and the various projects that are all on-going.

Responsibilities

  • Provide Business Management support and assist the Group Heads of France, Italy, Portugal & Spain in day to day running of their team
  • Help manage people strategy initiatives
  • Manage headcount tracking (hires, leavers, and graduates)
  • Work on ad-hoc management reporting
  • Support the mid-year and year-end promo/ compensation process
  • Track KPIs for senior managers, such as call reports, scorecards, red flags
  • Manage and ensure seamless transitions for all end-user technology updates

Skills

  • Proficiency in all Microsoft Office Applications
  • Ability to service internal clients (managing upwards and downwards)
  • Keen attention to detail
  • Self-starter who can problem solve without detailed instructions
  • Must be capable of creating relationships across many divisions/groups within the Bank
  • Experience in a similar position in an investment bank is highly desired
