Overview

The Trade Transaction Associate provides operational expertise and independent governance to achieve timely, accurate and complete transaction management for the Bank and, where relevant, the Bank’s clients. The responsibilities include technical, transactional, and logistical input into the leadership team to ensure the Bank operates with the right balance of quality, flexibility, control, and cost. This is achieved through collaboration across businesses and divisions in an environment which maximizes control and minimizes operational risk, whilst maintaining exceptional client or internal customer/stakeholder (as appropriate) service levels.

What You’ll Do

  • Builds and manages partnerships between internal businesses to ensure that the bank’s business objectives are delivered, comply with operational control, external regulation and continue to improve the Bank’s technology platforms, as appropriate
  • Works as a team, to ensure full front-to-back operational readiness for products ranging from high-volume vanilla trading through to highly complex structured transactions
  • Reviews complex lending legal agreements to extract key economic attributes
  • Functions in high pressure, risk-control environment, is a self-starter and able to work independently
  • Adapts quickly to new technology, exhibits expertise in Excel, SharePoint and Power Automate
  • Operates in a highly organized manner with great attention to detail

Skills You’ll Need

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Strong Excel skills: pivot tables, graphs, functions (lookups, If statements, etc.), and robust experience using SharePoint and Power Automate
  • Understanding of Loan Accounting, and experience with LoanIQ preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly learn and master new concepts and skills
  • Strong capacity for grasping complex ideas and applying this knowledge effectively in various scenarios, and proven track record of adapting to new situations and environments with agility and efficiency
