Role Description:

Divisional Control Office (DCO) is responsible for supporting the business by developing,

implementing and maintaining a risk framework to ensure a strong and sustainable business control environment whilst minimizing risk arising from non-financial risks.

Risk management includes performing Risk and Controls Assessment, implementing and executing controls across a variety of risk types. This includes developing an environment which supports performance of risk assessments and Controls review through robust data analytics and automation tools. Candidate will work closely with stakeholders to understand the bank’s requirement and develop a framework that will automate the implementation of controls using our technology stack.

Your key responsibilities

  • Work with DCO risk assessors and control owners to understand control requirements and problem statement.
  • Design smart ways of handling, transforming, storing and analyzing the data and identifying outliers as per control definitions
  • Design efficient low maintenance workflows using Power Automate platform
  • Prepare Power Apps interfaces and integrate them with the Power Automate workflows
  • Use available AI tools to develop solutions to support risk assessment and control execution
  • Own and help run the solutions designed in a sustainable manner
  • Documentation of the whole environment which can be used for audit and creation of EUDAs

Your skills and experience

  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills
  • Able to design solutions from business problem statements
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong understanding of excel including advanced formulae, macros and Power Query
  • Experience of SQL and familiarity with a scripting language (Python)
  • Know-how of large databases and complex data models
  • Knowledge of BI Tools, e.g. Power BI, Qlik Sense, Tableau
  • Experience of working on AI tools (Co-Pilot, Gemini). Hands on experience on Large Learning Model (LLM)
  • Experience of Power Platform – especially on Power Automate and Power Apps
  • Experience in financial industry technology (Good to know)
  • Understanding of Banking financial products (Good to know)
