Cross Asset Sales Trader, Markets Investment Team (Trading)

About the role and the team

Deutsche Bank intends to hire an Investment Sales Specialist to focus on cross-asset investment coverage of sophisticated UHNW clients and Family offices. The Sales Specialist will work with the Markets Investment Team trading to provide clients with a sophisticated execution services around capital markets, derivatives and structured solutions during European and US market opening hours.

This individual will bring a distinguished track record in trading and advising on tailored transactions with professional clients and will have deep knowledge of investment related platform capabilities in the wealth management industry. The ideal candidate will understand capital markets across asset classes and be able to navigate the product landscape together with other stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Acting as point of contact and execution for eligible clients that require access to a sophisticated trading services on: Listed Equity Derivatives, Cash Equities, FX (Spot/Fwd/swap/light exotics/exotics)

Providing comprehensive client service regarding Capital Markets activity (market colour, trade origination, position/life-cycle management)

Understanding and assessing all business and transaction related risks, including market-risks, credit-risks, operational-risks, and reputational-risks

Collaborating closely with key internal partners, including Legal, Compliance, Risk, and the Investment Bank

Achieving capital markets revenue targets

Required Profile

5+ years of relevant investment experience in client facing coverage role in a multi-asset capacity within Wealth Management. Experience with Avaloq and EMSX / TSOX a plus

Proven experience in derivatives with strong technical knowledge and understanding of Capital Markets

Strong team player - willing and able to work under pressure, being able to prioritize tasks

Works fast with utmost precision even under pressure, error-free and under own initiative

Positive, outgoing, and open-minded personality

Foundational understanding of and respect for applicable legal and regulatory concepts, incl. cross-border frameworks and requisite local requirements (Legal, Compliance and Regulatory requirements associated with the role)

Strong communication skills (verbally and in written) in English. Other languages are beneficial

Willingness to work rotating shifts between European and US market hours
