During your internship, you will receive guidance and training in the technical aspects of our business and be given opportunities to work alongside our global and local product, industry, and country experts. In our challenging and fast-paced environment, strong quantitative and numerical skills are key as are creative problem solving skills needed to deliver the best solutions for our demanding clients. In addition, you will need good communication and presentation skills, high levels of motivation, a fascination for finance plus a collaborative approach to working.

Responsibilities:

  • As part of your role, you will be involved in the sales and structuring of FX, Interest Rates, and Commodities products - including cash, swaps, forwards, and option strategies - as well as investment products and our e-commerce suite.
  • You will coordinate cross-sell efforts within the Deutsche Bank Group and collaborate with other Corporate & Investment Banking teams in the Amsterdam Branch.

Skills:

  • Must be studying towards a bachelor’s degree or master’s degree, ideally in finance, economics or some other quantitative field
  • Previous work experience in finance or (investment) banking is an asset, preferably in a Sales or Trading environment
  • Good understanding of the finance industry as well as current business and economics environment
  • Strong numerical skills, quick and ambitious learner
  • High degree of professionalism as well as strong drive and commitment
  • Ability to work well within a team
  • Ability to work under pressure in a vibrant environment and dealing with multiple requests at the same time
  • Excellent skills in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Fluent in English and Dutch
