Role Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytically strong Associate to join our Private Bank - Financial Resource Management team. The role focuses on managing and optimizing Credit Risk-RWA (Risk Weighted Assets), with a strong emphasis on regulatory compliance/alignment under Basel IV.

Your key responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Lending Heads, Finance, and Risk teams to put together reliable estimates of Credit Risk - RWA for Flash and Forecasts. Further ensure timely and accurate submission aligned with group reporting timelines.
  • Monitor Credit Risk-RWA Actuals in line with Basel IV regulatory requirements and validate alignment with Flash figures.
  • Investigate and resolve data quality issues in coordination with Risk and Finance teams during month-end reporting.
  • Identify RWA optimization opportunities post month-end. Further, work with Operations, Risk, and Finance to address root causes and implement fixes at source.
  • Prepare Credit Risk - RWA estimates for the annual Planning process. Respond to capital-related queries from regional teams.
  • Handle ad-hoc capital-related queries/requests from senior management and cross-functional teams.
  • Track and Monitor Leverage Exposure Actuals and ensure consistency with Flash. Address discrepancies and data quality issues with relevant stakeholders.

Your skills and experience

  • Strong understanding of Basel IV regulations, especially pertaining to credit risk.
  • 4–5 years of relevant experience in Credit Risk - RWA, CR RWA Quality Assurance, or Capital Management.
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with data visualization and reporting tools is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple deliverables across global teams.
