Role Description

  • The COO Business Management department of Private Bank Operations has a central role relating to the management of costs & resources, and administering of relevant financial requirements for all operational units of the Private Bank Germany and International Private Bank. The team works closely with the PB COOs, Business managers and Senior managers and the central Planning & Performance Management teams of the Private Bank and Group. The areas of responsibilities include central planning, forecasting, and reporting processes.
  • The role also involves interpretation and analysis of the business-related cost developments and providing suitable recommendations for action. There is a close exchange with the specialist departments, Finance, Human resources, and Senior management. The role is part of a desk extension team and supports the SS&O COO Germany teams in Bonn and Frankfurt; having a local reporting line in Mumbai. Your key responsibilities

  • Provide insights on the business through regular reporting of financials via tools such as SAP, GGL and Workday Adaptive
  • Provide support cost & FTE analysis for the business & perform deep dives wherever necessary to support the Annual Planning & Monthly Forecasting activity
  • Provide regular feedback on Hiring Pipeline & ensure hiring requests are raised in the systems
  • Coordination and participation in strategic projects
  • Active participation in the implementation and further development of the planning and forecasting process
  • Central coordination of overarching cost and workforce analyses to derive recommendations for action for senior management
  • Presentation of monthly development scenarios with regard to quarterly/annual financial statements as well as support for ad-hoc analyses
  • Clarification of overarching special topics as well as company-specific issues with local business and finance functions, including coordination with corporate and infrastructure functions
  • Contact person and coordinator for all cost-specific issues of the operational units of Private Bank GY and International Private Bank.

Your skills and experience

  • Academic qualifications in Business, Finance or related field
  • Aptitude for analytical tasks and ability to pull out the key messages
  • Ability to constructively challenge senior colleagues
  • Very Good Excel working knowledge
  • Strong communication skills with excellent English, both orally and written
  • Good knowledge of the financial sector
